Gwen Marie Seamon, of Richfield Springs, and Ruben Elias Alvear were married on September 25, 2004.
Pastor Phil Chorlian performed the double-ring ceremony at the Kingston Full Gospel in Kingston, N.Y..
The couple’s parents are Tex and Bette Seamon, of Richfield Springs, and George and Maura Alvear of Lodi, N.J.
Katie Seamon was the maid of honor and Paul Straight was the best man.
Bridesmaids were seven of the bride’s college friends. Ushers were
comprised of seven of the groom’s brothers and college friends.
Completing the wedding party as flower girls were Pastor Chorlain’s
twin daughters.
The couple greeted guests during a reception at Kingston Point Park on the Hudson River.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Richfield Springs Central School and
a 2004 graduate of Nyack College in Nyack, N.Y. She is employed as the
assistant manager at Starbucks.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Hackensack High School and a 2003 graduate of Nyack College. He is employed at Napa Auto.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Virgina Beach, Va.
The couple is living in Ridgefield, N.J., and is planning a
missionary trip to the groom’s family home in the country of Ecuador,
South America.
