| The Zone, a community center for youth based in Richfield Springs,
will be presenting the Zone Community Center Day July 23 from 2 to 10
p.m. in Spring Park in Richfield Springs.
The event will offer carnival games and prizes, a Chinese auction
and antique appraisals from 2 to 5 p.m.; a watermelon eating contest at
3 p.m.; a Brooks Barbecue dinner from 4 until 6 p.m.; and a street
dance in the park with D.J. Red Hot and Wild from 7 until 10 p.m.
Pending the return of the basketball hoops to Spring Park, the Zone
also hopes to incorporate a three-on-three basketball tournament into
the day’s activities.
