Another year has passed for Richfield Springs’ Roslyn King, who turned 93 Wednesday, July 30, and once again she is extending her appreciation to friends and loved ones for their thoughtfulness and birthday wishes. In a prepared statement, King said, “A heartfelt, big thank you to my family, my daughters, Beverly Riedel, of Rome, Carolyn DiMauro, of Germantown, Patricia (Tricio) Collins-Hysell, of Frankfort; and granddaughter and family, Lori Collins-Hall, of Oneonta, for their beautiful birthday luncheon at the Richfield Springs Lake House and for love given by the Church of Christ Uniting, for cards, calls and offers of help in my daily life. God Bless all of my friends at the Vet’s Senior Meals. “I am also thankful for the honor of being a guest of President Alan Donovan, College at Oneonta, at the Otesaga, on May 6, 2008. On June 7, 2008, I enjoyed being at my 71st SUCO class reunion for the class of 1937. I am grateful to my friends and family who get me to all the places I need to go, as I have stopped driving and have sold my car. “Thank you everyone. God bless all of you.”
