Entries sought for annual horse show

COOPERSTOWN – Hunt-seat riders are welcome to submit entries for The Farmers’ Museum Eleventh Annual Benefit Horse Show, scheduled for Sunday, June 10, at the River Road Showgrounds, County Route 33, Cooperstown. The show, which offers equestrians the opportunity to test their horsemanship skills, features a range of classes for beginner through open riders. The closing date for pre-entries is Wednesday, June 6; entries will also be accepted the day of the show for an additional charge of $1 per class. New this year is a pre-show equestrian clinic with Leo Conroy, one of the nation’s foremost hunter and jumper trainers. The clinic will be held Saturday, June 9, and is open to riders of all levels and ages. Overnight stabling off-site and a discount on entry fees is available for registrants who will be participating in the clinic and the show.
