The Herkimer County Humane Society is holding its annual plant sale,
Friday, May 6, from 12 to 3 p.m. and Saturday, May 7, from 12 to 4 p.m.
at the Humane Society on Route 5S in Mohawk.
The flower choices for 2005 are: Non stop begonias in pink or red;
ivy geraniums in red and white or burgundy; zonal (Regular) geraniums
in red or hot pink and New Guinea impatiens in lavender or red.
You can either pre order your flowers by calling the Humane Society
at (315) 866-3255, or by contacting any board member, or come down and
browse our wonderful selection. All flowers come in 10 inch hanging
baskets, but may be easily removed for planting in pots or in the
ground.
The cost for the flowers is $15 for one or $25 for two.
All proceeds from this plant sale, as well as our many other
fund-raising activities, benefit the homeless animals that are housed
at the shelter.
Come and buy your spring or Mother’s Day flowers and help the animals at the same time. |
