COOPERSTOWN – The Otsego County Hotel and Lodging Association
(OCHLA) will hold its next meeting Wednesday, May 10, at 4 p.m. at the
Best Western, Route 28, Cooperstown.
All persons associated with the tourism industry in Otsego County are encouraged to attend the meeting.
This meeting will also be of interest to people who may become bed
and breakfast or temporary rental property owners in the future.
Membership applications can be requested by emailing
otsegoctyhotels@yahoo.com. The one-time application fee is $25.
Benefits of membership include:
• Representation – OCHLA is building relationships with local and state legislators for the good of the county tourism industry.
• Information – legal, regulatory and safety bulletins are announced
at OCHLA meetings to keep members up to date on critical industry
issues.
• Education – OCHLA holds sessions led by the Otsego County Code
Enforcement Office and professional marketing directors, among others.
• Networking – hotel managers, bed and breakfast owners, and others associated with county tourism attend meetings.
