Melissa Dawn Surawski, of Florence, S.C., and Jason Earl Homeyer, of Mascoutah, Ill., were married July 22, 2006, at Central Baptist Church in Darlington, S.C. by the reverends Allen Campbell and Timothy Coker. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zigmont J. Surawski, III, of Florence, S.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Lowery, of Virgilina, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Zigmont J. Surawski, Jr., of Richfield Springs. She is a graduate of Florence Darlington Technical College with a degree in Computer Networking and is currently a junior at Limestone College. She is employed by United Parcel Service in Florence, S.C. as a computer technician. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Homeyer, of Mascoutah, Ill. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reindl of Sun City, Ariz., and the late Mr. Earl Homeyer, Sr., of Herman, Mo., and Mrs. Eleanor Mitchell of Whispering Valley, Mo. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force. He is employed by Circuit City. The couple will reside in Florence, S.C.
