Adult ed classes announced

Richfield Springs Central School has announced its schedule of adult education classes. Senior citizens get $1 discount for each class. Line dancing: Enjoy new line dances in a relaxed and fun environment – Thursdays 6:30-8 p.m., Oct. 18 to Nov. 15. Instructor: Erika Zeigler, fee $4 per lesson. Hall walkers: Oct. 1 to June 23. School days from 4-8 p.m. Fee is $5 for the year. Traditional karate: Learn self discipline, self-confidence and self-defense. Class is for men and women, Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7-9 p.m., Sept. 24 and 26, Oct. 1, 3, 10, 15 and 17. The instructor is Tina Powell and the fee is $28 for 7 classes. Low Impact Aerobics Plus: Get into shape by exercising to music. Wednesdays, Sept. 19 and 26, Oct. 3, 10 and 17, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The instructor is Carolyn Hopper and the fee is $3 per class. Weight and fitness room: Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:30-8 p.m., Saturdays from 7-8 a.m. The instructor is Karen Watson and the fee is $3 per session and $2 on Saturday. Gentle Yoga: Deep breathing, stretching and relaxation techniques. All fitness levels welcome. Tuesdays, Sept. 25, Oct. 2, 9, and 16, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The instructor is Wanda Hunt and the fee is $3 per class.
