Development zone would bring jobs, tax revenuesEarlier this year, I read, with interest, your stories discussing the meetings between the town of Richfield and representatives of JGB Factoring, owners of the Richfield Springs Mercury, over properties within the town of Richfield. Within one article, it mentioned the town has established an economic development zone, within the town of Richfield, designated for future business development. Would your newspaper plan to run a story on this proposed new zone (i.e. location and current and available infrastructure)? A zone such as this one can attract sustainable business into the area. Sustainable business would bring sustainable jobs followed by sustainable tax revenues to support needed community services. Susanna Schneider Richfield Springs
