Academic excellence
|
Charles Magnone, left, and Christopher Strain will be awarded the 2006 Series Scholarships for Academic Excellence, sponsored by the New York State Board of Regents, based on their outstanding scholastic achievements on New York State Regents Examinations throughout high school. Both students are members of the Class of 2006 at Owen D. Young Central School in Van Hornesville. Strain will be attending Utica College of Syracuse to study Computer Science/Corporate Security and Magnone will major in Piano/Composition at Syracuse University. (Photo submitted)
