Library News. The used book sale at the Public Library last week was a
great success. More than $190 was realized. There are still many books,
records, puzzles and music books left so the sale is continuing for
another week or so. Roger Fromm of Springfield was high bidder on the
Encyclopedia Brittanica with a bid of $25.25. The Library has a new
eye-catching exhibit in its display case. Mrs. John Carter has lent her
interesting collection of owls of every shape, size and substance. They
are receiving a great deal of attention. The Library will be having the
Friday afternoon movies for children during the month of July. This
year, however, admittance will be limited to children between the ages
of six and eight.

In general terms the building would cover the tennis courts in Spring

face Main Street.
