Local cider featured on Martha Stewart’s new show

NEW YORK – Martha Stewart featured the Fly Creek Cider Mill Cider
& Orchard on her new show, MARTHA, last Wednesday. As part of
an entire show devoted to apples, the mill’s fresh, sweet cider was
chosen for the audience give-away, representing the many delightful
uses of this delicious fruit.
Brenda and Bill Michaels, owners of the Fly Creek Cider Mill, were
contacted earlier last month and asked to submit a cider sample that
would exemplify the quality that Stewart is known for.
“We were honored to be chosen as the cider of choice for the show
and the entire experience was fun,” said Bill Michaels. “To have a
product that you make yourself given such national exposure is really
gratifying, especially when it comes from someone with such high
standards as Martha’s.”
The show also featured Nancy Foster, president and CEO of the U.S.
Apple Association, who promoted the health benefits of eating U.S.
grown apples.
